Software Conversation

Hi All!

Hi All,

Happy Monday! I have a few intriguing facts for you to marvel over.

  • In a recent survey, the NPD Group, a national market research firm, surveyed a number of computer users age 18 + to determine how many people were currently downloading purchased software, instead of making an in-store purchase. An amazing 36% of the survey participants download various software applications directly from the web because of simple convenience. Next, 35% had the software shipped to them,  whereas 23% preferred to download the software, and have a backup disk shipped to them.  What does this report reveal to us? That we love to shop online, and we are making smarter choices to offset the rising gas prices.  To read this report, please visit hhttp://www.npd.com/corpServlet?nextpage=press-releases_s.html
